A meeting with Wacław Radziwiłowicz

Wacław Radziwiłłowicz, the author of the bestselling book “Crème de la Kremlin” and one of the best experts on the Russian soul and politics met with some Kielce residents at the Institute. A longtime correspondent of “Gazeta Wyborcza” in Moscow, expelled from Russia in December 2015, he describes today’s Russians with talent and insight worthy of Gogol, Tolstoy and Solzhenitsyn. The latest book by Radziwinowicz ‘Crème de la Kremlin’ is an unusual description of the nightmare world of lies and lawlessness in Russia. The meeting was chaired Bogdan Białek.

– When I was reading these texts just before the editing, not in Russia but in Poland, after I had been expelled from Russia, I noticed with horror that this was also a book about contemporary Poland, about how, after the political transformation, the country is changing and therefore follows the same path as Russia – said Wacław Radziwinowicz.
