Rebbetzin Miriam Szychowska talked about women in Judaism, their role in a marriage, upbringing
children and the life of a community. Miriam Szychowska, the wife of Dawid Szychowski, Rabbi of
Lodz, comes from a non-religious Jewish family. When she was an adult she turned to Judaism.
During the meeting in Kielce she compared everyday life of religious Jews with non-religious families.
She also showed photographs of important Jewish ceremonies, such as circumcision, bar mitzvah,
wedding.
