On a Saturday afternoon we hosted a Polish-Swedish Jazz&Love Trio: Klaudia Kowalik (vocals and violin), Grzegorz Rogala (trombone and looper) and Andres Grop (bass). The concert included famous pieces such as “Fever”, “My Funny Valentine” and Disney’s standard “Someday my Prince will come.” The artists also performed compositions by Grzegorz Rogala for poems by Bruno Schultz included in the short story entitled ‘Wiosna’ [Spring]. The musicians decided to refer to the history of the building at 7/9 Planty, performing the song “Morenica”, created by Sephardic Jews and originally written in Ladino.
