The second part of the meeting with professor Grosfeld was entitled “The Christian Lamentation of the Shoah”. Our guest, a member of the Polish Episcopal Committee for Dialogue with Judaism, the author of the book “Why Do Christians Need Jews?”, spoke about the permanent change that the Holocaust should bring to the life of Christian communities. The lecture was based on biblical texts, the teaching of the Church, but also on our guest’s own experience.
