On Friday, October 11 our Institute was visited by Maciej Hen who spoke about his new novel entitled ‘Deutsch dla średnio zaawansowanych’ [German for Intermediate Users]. The meeting was conducted by Grzegorz Lindenberg, who described the book as a wise road novel showing the process of the hero’s becoming self-aware. The guests also spoke about the inspirations to write the novel and the very process of its creation. There were also questions related to the importance of family history in general. During the meeting some passages of the book were read out by Maciej Hen.
