On February 12, 2020, a press conference was held devoted to the third edition of the Non-Fiction Literature and Poetry Festival. The President of the Jan Karski Society, Bogdan Białek, the creator and director of the Festival, met the representatives of the media.
‘This is a year of particular importance to the Society. We are celebrating 15 years of our operations. The Festival starts a series of events which will highlight and sum up our presence in the public space. The motto of the Festival – “Time and Truth” – is the title of a poem by Cyprian Kamil Norwid. We want to reflect upon what remains in our memory and to think about how collective memory, memory of space, memory of family and one’s own individual memory create our identity’, said Bogdan Białek.
