It was the first in Kielce series of events dedicated to Józef Tischner, famous priest, who died in 2000. Józef Tischner, a philosopher and a priest, in a very clever way commented and helped to understand the reality that surrounds us. During the celebrations we presented two exhibitions: “The Courage of Thinking”, presented in Sienkiewicza Street next to the Jan Karski bench and “Following the Tischner’s Paths” prepared by Instytut Myśli Józefa Tischnera, presented at the Institute for the Culture of Encounter and Dialogue, which includes, among others, personal book dedications of Tischner.
