The monograph was published by the Scientific Society of the Catholic University of Lublin in the series “Polish-Jewish Literature,” edited by Agnieszki Kasperek, Agnieszka Żmuda and Slawomir Jacek Żurek. The meeting was attended by Professor Sławomir Jacek Żurek (KUL), Bogdan Białek, president of the Jan Karski Society and Fr Professor Alfred Wierzbicki (KUL). In the preface, prof. Sławomir Jacek Żurek said that the publisher was very keen for the promotion to be held in Kielce, in the building at Planty 7, the seat of our Society. The book is a collection of sixteen dissertations, whose authors represent various fields of science and various academic centers in Poland and abroad – in Germany, France, Italy, Sweden, Canada and the United States.
