A visit of a group of young people from Habonim Dror

On Saturday afternoon, August 10, 2019, a group of young people, members of Habonim Dror (The Builders of Freedom) Jewish Labour Zionist Youth Movement and the evolution of the pre-war Jewish Scouting Organization Hashomer Hatzair (The Young Guard), visited our Institute. The members of the group included leaders of peer groups operating in their countries, i.e. in Israel, Australia and New Zealand. The group watched a testimony of Baruch Dorfman, one of the survivors of the pogrom and visited the Institute’s permanent exhibition “Remember the Days of Old”. Next, they went to see the bench of Jan Karski, whose life story made a great impression on them.
