Visit of artists from “Nomada” project

The Institute for the Culture of Encounter and Dialogue was visited by an international group of twenty artists who met Bogdan Białek, president of the Jan Karski Society and visited the exhibition “Remember the Past Days”.

The artists created their works around the building of the Jewish house of prayer moved from Słowacki Street to the district of Pakosz. The history of the Kielce synagogue, its relocation and renovation, inspired Pawel Althamer to develop a program of “Nomad” referring to the issues of memory, wandering and community. The event was organized by the Foundation for the New Space of Art.
