As part of the Kielce celebrations of Marek Edelman Year, celebrating the first centenary of the birth of the last leader of the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising our Institute organized two events. On Wednesday, April 24, there was a screening of the film entitled “Kronika Powstania w Getcie Warszawskim według Marka Edelmana” [Chronicle of the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising According to Marek Edelman] directed by Jolanta Dylewska. On Sunday, April 25, there was a jazz concert during which works submitted to Marek Edelman contest organized by Charaktery monthly magazine were presented. The concert featured Roman Otto, a Berlin based composer and saxophonist, Frank Parker (USA), percussionist and Andres Grop (Sweden), bass player.
