Konstanty Gebert: Secular law in the Holy Land. Israel as a (multi) religious state.

The basic element of the Jewish identity, thanks to which the nation did not lose its independence during hundreds of years of living in the Diaspora, was Judaism. At the same time, the Zionist movement that led to the creation of the new state was largely secular. What is the relationship between the state and religion in Israel today? The lecture on this subject was given by Konstanty Gebert – journalist, translator and writer, expert on Israeli issues, author of “A Place Under the Sun. The Wars of Israel” and “The Forty Years’ War”.
