Workshop entitled ‘Saving from oblivion. Searching for and taking photographs of the remains of Kielce Jewish life”.

On Saturday 26, we held the next workshop under the program of ABCs of Judaism and Jewish Culture. This time the participants learned how to search for and take photographs of places connected with the Jewish history of Kielce. Following the introduction by Andrzej Białek, deputy-president of the Jan Karski Society, which included a series of practical tips on how to look for the remains of the Jewish heritage in city space, the participants went for a walk during which they took photos under the supervision of Antonii Myśliwiec, a well-known Kielce photographer, member of the Świętokrzyskie Branch of the Association of Polish Photographers, author of numerous exhibitions held at the BWA Gallery in Kielce and the Kielce History Museum.
