‘From the very beginning of his pontificate Pope Francis has treated the matters regarding refugees as the most important ones’, said Bishop Krzysztof Zadarko, immigration delegate of the Polish Bishops’ Conference, during a meeting organized within a series entitled ‘Understanding Pope Francis’ held at the Institute for the Culture of Encounter and Dialogue in Kielce. The theme of the meeting was ‘Why does Pope Francis love refugees?”. The Bishop presented the Church’s teachings on refugees, their real needs and explained how much the Pope cared about them.
